PHILRADS has distributed shelter repair materials to the families affected by Typhoon Odette through the Transitional Progressive Shelter Assistance Project on March 9 in Alegria, Cebu.
The Assembly of God Joyful Church served as our church partner for this project. They helped us with the distribution of the materials as well as monitoring to 9 barangays in Alegria.
GRATITUDE – all beneficiaries in 9 Barangays have committed to help in rebuilding their houses. One of the beneficiaries said “I am very thankful and I am so encouraged with your presence here and with the materials that you provided. I will commit to help other beneficiaries in our community in rebuilding their houses.”
Through their Bayanihan strategies, the house of the beneficiaries has been completed already.
