March 19, 2022 || PCEC-PHILRADS along with San Miguel LGU and the Local Parish church started the construction of the 10 Progressive Transitional Shelter out of 250 houses in Purok Dos, Brgy. Hagbuyo, San Miguel, Bohol.
These houses were totally damaged during the onslaught of Typhoon Odette.
The Balay Sa Gugma volunteer carpenters offered their services in the reconstruction of the houses, along with the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction Council and resident volunteers.
The partnership between PCEC-PHILRADS, Samaritan’s Purse, FEBC, San Miguel LGU headed by Atty Virgilio Mendez – the Municipal Mayor, BAROG San Miguel Working Committee on House Reconstruction, Balay sa Gugma Apostolate – St. Michael the Archangel Parish, Volunteer Carpenters, and Barangay LGU made this possible.
A thanksgiving celebration was also conducted to celebrate God’s goodness and provision.
