Barangay Cabitoonan, General Luna in Siargao Island was one of the most affected and least served, which qualifies for PHILRADS’ criteria in selecting which community to help.
Notwithstanding the ten-hour wait and travel to Siargao, the PHILRADS team had finally given them relief items on January 6.
This has been the biggest help General Luna has received, according to the residents.
PHILRADS President Bishop Noel A. Pantoja spoke blessings to the people of Cabitoonan, declaring the recovery and thriving of their businesses soon in Jesus’ name.
Bebeth Tiu, a retired but a veteran Disaster Response Director from another Internanational NGO, also shared about another kind of blessing that never fades. “PCEC and PHILRADS not only give physical help. We also bring you the message of the Bread of Life.”
